This full moon is in nurturing cancer. Giving us support to reflect on this past year, set new intentions and open our hearts to new possibilities. With the Moon in Cancer opposing Venus, this could an emotional time. Light may be shed on areas of your life, on your relationships or partnerships, illuminating aspects that could use addressing, shifting, forgiving or resolving. The key is to be gentle with yourself as things come up. Sensitivities may be heightened. The good news is, along with this comes an opportunity for huge shifts in an upward direction with an increased feeling of support and empowerment.

3 ways to launch into the New Year with renewed energy & clarity

  1. Write out all that you want to let go of.

Then, take a few moments to acknowledge and give thanks for all of it, then burn the paper, and give the ashes back to mother earth.

  2. Ask yourself: What is the number one thing you have not forgiven yourself for that is unresolved? Take a few quiet moments to say the following out loud at least 3 times...(This is a declaration you are making to the universal creator. You can use any name you identify with or are comfortable with.)

Universal Creator, I forgive myself for...

I forgive (add in name or names of others)...

Please help me forgive myself, forgive others (add in name or names of others), others forgive me and us all forgive each other. Please and Thank you, Please and Thank you, Please and Thank you.

  1. Write out a list of the top 5 things you would like to change or create in 2018

keep this somewhere where you see it daily. Write it in colored pens or pencils on colored paper, have fun with it, draw on it, paint on it...whatever makes your heart shine, do that.

Wishing you a blessed, abundant, healthy and joyful new year.
