Choose Love

A shift begins with the words we use and conversations we have with ourselves and others...

There is something interesting in the meanings of the words "fight", "love",
"compassion", and the feelings or emotions these individual words bring up...

Webster Meanings:

Fight: To contend in battle or physical combat, to put forth a determined effort, especially : to strive to overcome a person by blows or weapons.

Love: Unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another, strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties.

Compassion: Sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it.

Our Choice

We get to Choose to incorporate the positive aspect of "fight" and put forth a determined
effort to "love" with "compassion" a situation or something as it shifts, changes and evolves.

Before changing or shifting for the better, the external circumstances may be filled with
adversity, while simultaneously your journey can be filled with love, compassion and
grace. This is the co-existence of yin and yang...softening a hard or difficult situation
(yang) with love (yin).

When we flood with "love" the things we may normally "fight" with anger or upset, and
unite together as one with positive "compassion", at the very least our journey
internally shifts from "fighting" an enemy of sorts, to a journey of love, and compassion.

Positive emotions/love in action, support a healthy immune system and enhanced well-
being. This is one of the most empowering things we can do for ourselves and those around us.

May we all be inspired to see the love and grace in every situation, experience gratitude
for even the things that don't feel great, and gain wisdom from our journey.

With Love and Blessings,

Eluv
