Chocolate Avocado Mousse Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: Fresh berries, crushed nuts, or coconut flakes, fresh chopped mint leaves
  • Variations: Add a couple of drops of Doterra Essential Oil ~ Orange or Mint 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Avocados:
  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
  1. Blend the Ingredients:
  • Add the cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
  1. Blend Until Smooth:
  • Blend everything until you achieve a creamy, smooth texture. Scrape down the sides as needed to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
  1. Taste and Adjust:
  • Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
  1. Chill:
  • Transfer the mousse into serving dishes or glasses and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let it set and chill.
  1. Serve:
  • Top with your choice of fresh berries, crushed nuts, or coconut flakes before serving.
